Well Said…

Well Said is a 8-week Public Speaking program for youth ranging from middle to high school ages. Since the launch in 2019, the program has positively affected over 100 young-people from the Paramore, Pine Hills and Winter Park communities delivering a afterschool program that is fresh, fun and life-changing to all enrollees.

With the overutilization of technology and underutilization of speech to communicate in today’s world, Well Said was developed to encourage youth to find and use their voice to tell the story of their communities — in their own words. As enrollees learn the fundamentals of Public Speaking, they are also taught communication skills such as structuring your thoughts, simplifying memorization, and managing nerves so that they can form and share their narratives.
